Fox Hills (Lusail) vs The Pearl.. real cost of living?

Question

Looking at 2BR apartments. Fox Hills rent is cheaper (~6,500) than The Pearl (~8,500). But I heard Qatar Cool bills in The Pearl are crazy high in summer. Does Lusail also use Qatar Cool or is it regular Kahramaa? Which is actually better value?

I live in Fox Hills. Lusail uses "Marafeq" for district cooling, which is similar to Qatar Cool in The Pearl. You pay a fixed capacity charge plus your actual usage. In summer, my Marafeq bill for a 2BR is around 400-500 QAR, plus regular Kahramaa (water/electricity) for 200 QAR. The Pearl Qatar Cool bills can be double that. Fox Hills is definitely better value for money right now, and Lusail Boulevard is right there.

I lived in both. Lusail is much quieter and Marafeq bills are slightly cheaper than Qatar Cool. Go for Fox Hills if you want to save money, but the Pearl has better walking areas.
