How to register a new lease on Tawtheeq online?
Just moved to a new apartment. The landlord said I need to register the contract on Tawtheeq to get my Kahramaa connection sorted. Do I do this or does the landlord do it? What is the process?

Usually, the real estate company or the landlord handles the Tawtheeq registration with the Ministry of Municipality. They pay the fee (1% of the annual rent) and send you the authenticated contract. You then take that authenticated contract to Kahramaa (or do it online via the Kahramaa portal) to transfer the utilities to your QID.
