Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor traffic at 7 AM?

Hi all. Im starting a new job in Hamad Hospital next week and ill be commuting from Al Thumama. How is the traffic on Sabah Al Ahmad corridor around 6:45 - 7:00 AM? Should I stick to D-Ring road instead?

Sabah Al Ahmad is a lifesaver. Takes me 15 mins from airport area to Hamad hospital. Just avoid the right lane near the exits. D-ring is a nightmare with the traffic lights.
